Clean Water Wells
The CDC has reported thousands of cholera cases across sub-Saharan Africa over the past decade. Many people die from waterborne diseases such as cholera. Rural schools in sub-Saharan African are often plagued with poor sanitation facilities e.g. dirty pit latrines. Most schools do not have clean running water and rely on surface unsafe drinking water from rivers. In some parts, surface water is scarce.
Chirindo Foundation is building solar water wells to provide clean running water at rural primary and secondary schools in rural Southern Africa.
Our goals for 2024-2025 is to raise $5,000 to build one solar water well at a deserving secondary school in Zimbabwe.
Bring CLEAN WATER to thousands of primary and secondary schools in rural Southern Africa!
